About the Church

Prince of Peace Assembly is a Christ-centred ministry founded on the principles of salvation, discipleship, holiness, and deliverance. Established in 2012 by Mr. Olukayode Oladimeji Yakub, the church is committed to raising disciples, promoting biblical values, and advancing God’s Kingdom through spiritual teaching, community outreach, and transformative ministry. Guided by its vision of making disciples of all nations and its mission of worship, peace, and holiness, Prince of Peace Assembly continues to serve as a place of spiritual growth, worship, and Christian service.

About the General Overseer

Mr. Olukayode Oladimeji Yakub was born into a Muslim family and later gave his life to Jesus Christ on 1 August 1991 while studying at the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. Following his conversion, he publicly affirmed his faith through water baptism in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), where he faithfully served God in various ministerial capacities for several years. 

Despite sensing a divine calling to establish a ministry, Mr. Yakub initially remained reluctant to embark on that assignment. However, after years of prayerful consideration and yielding to God’s direction, he eventually embraced the call. Consequently, in 2012, Prince of Peace Assembly was founded in obedience to God’s instruction and in fulfillment of the mandate entrusted to him. Since its establishment, the church has remained committed to preaching the Gospel, nurturing believers, and advancing the Kingdom of God through sound biblical teaching, discipleship, and community outreach
